Nha Trang (Cam Ranh) weather in February

Nha Trang's forum rates December-through-February as the best window locally — cooler and drier than the rest of the year, roughly 21-24°C, with the sea gradually warming after the rainy season. Regulars flag the water as still a bit rough in February, not fully calming down until around March, though swimming and snorkeling both remain workable.

This coast runs its wet season opposite to most of Vietnam, and January is the month it is climbing out of one. Posters are right that any single day's rain here tends to be brief rather than an all-day event, and that the heat and humidity (commonly described as hot bordering on oppressive) are the more consistent day-to-day reality than the rain itself.
