Conditions do improve toward the very end of the month, but posters were clear October onward is when things become genuinely comfortable. The upside repeated by several regulars: September sees almost no tourists and noticeably cheaper hotel rates than the October-onward high season, a real trade-off for anyone who can handle the heat.
