Around Soufrière specifically, rainforest storms can turn genuinely intense but blow through fast, often leaving a rainbow behind - hot, humid, sunny and breezy is the day-to-day baseline. One early-September visitor described surprisingly manageable heat with mostly sunny days and just a little rain, and several posters pointed to reduced rates and thinner crowds as the real upside of visiting this time of year.
