Getting around
A visitor's account of Malmö describes renting a bike on day two of the trip and barely walking anywhere afterward, since the city's 515 kilometers of dedicated cycling lanes run through nearly every neighborhood and drivers are genuinely used to sharing the road with cyclists. Her route from accommodation near Möllevångstorget covered the old town, the harbor, and Ribersborg beach entirely on two wheels, and her practical tip was to rent from a shop like Travelshop on Carlsgatan, where staff hand over route maps along with the bike.
