August is the middle of the Kimberley dry season — late May to early September — and the forum's verdict is unambiguous: peak visitor season, perfect weather, every tour running. The record agrees completely: 31°C by day, 19 overnight, light wind, and zero rain-days. Regulars specifically favour August over July, because the days and nights have warmed a little more by then. The one thing to plan is supply rather than weather — caravan parks are in high demand June through August and want booking well ahead.
