July is Bora Bora's dry season and its windy one, and the wind is what regulars actually warn about. September is a shoulder month on the Bora Bora forum, and regulars are careful not to oversell it: it is usually beautiful, the dry season is never a sure thing, and this is the tropics, so sun, showers or a downpour are all on the table.
