  2. fevereiro

Comfortable and busy. The sea is at its coolest but still swimmable, and the outdoor sports calendar is full.

    peak

  3. março

Warm and pleasant at the start, noticeably hotter by the end. The last comfortable weeks outdoors.

    shoulder

  4. abril

Heat and humidity build quickly. Beach time moves to the morning and shade decides where anyone sits.

    shoulder

  5. maio

The outdoor season closes. Hot northwesterly winds and blown sand are common, and the pools stop cooling anyone down.

    dustlow season

  6. junho

Serious heat with coastal humidity on top of it. The city runs entirely between air-conditioned buildings.

    low season

  7. julho

The hardest month. The sea is close to bath temperature and outdoor life happens only after dark.

    low season

  8. agosto

Hot, humid, cheap and empty. The desert interior is drier but no cooler.

    low season

  9. setembro

Still very hot, though the nights start to loosen their grip towards the end of the month.

    low season

  10. outubro

The heat breaks. Beaches become usable again and the outdoor season restarts in the second half.

  11. novembro

Warm, dry and comfortable, with markets and terraces open again: one of the two best months.

  12. dezembro

Warm days, cool nights, holiday crowds and fog on the winter mornings that closes the airport now and then.

Bom saber antes de ir para Dubai

Experiências reais, tiradas dos relatos dos próprios viajantes e citadas com link para o original.

Segurança

A traveler on a Dubai desert safari describes what was supposed to be an exciting dune-bashing drive turning frightening, with the 4x4 taking dunes at speeds and angles that felt genuinely unsafe rather than just thrilling. Other reviewers of similar tours describe serious sand-dune driving accidents when operators push speed over caution. The consistent lesson from travelers who've had a bad experience: book through an operator with visible safety credentials and read recent reviews specifically for how the driver handled dune bashing, not just the sunset-and-dinner part of the package, and don't hesitate to ask the driver to slow down mid-drive if the ride feels out of control.

Notas de viajantes sobre Dubai

O que dizem as pessoas que já foram — primeiro as notas sobre o ano todo, depois mês a mês.

The city of Dubai is situated on a coastal strip bordered by desert and gets very hot in the summer. It is dry on the hottest days and humid during the cooler days in the summer. Cooler, more pleasant weather lasts from the end of September to the beginning of May (although pleasant is relative, with daily temperatures from October to January and March to May still being 20°C, but be prepared for cold night temperatures. In winter the temperature at night is usually from 10°C. From May to September, the sun is intense and in August temperatures can touch 54°C in the city and even higher in the desert. The heat, coupled with a humidity of 60%–70% near the coast, effectively precludes most activity outdoors for the daylight hours during summer. Summer and winter are effectively the only two noticeable seasons the city experiences. December to April generally produces the highest precipitation, though little of it, at total per year.…

Dubai forum threads consistently rate January as close to ideal - typical daytime highs around 24C with low humidity, rain genuinely rare at roughly two days of measurable rain for the entire month, and comfortable enough for extensive outdoor walking and sightseeing that isn't realistic in summer's extreme heat. This makes January genuinely peak tourist season here. Posters flagged real evening cooling though, especially on desert safaris where temperatures can drop from around 20C at sunset to 10-12C by sunrise - a light jacket for those evening activities was the standard recommendation even though daytime city conditions rarely require more than light layers.

Dubai-forum threads on February are close to unanimous: it's peak-season weather, warm days in the high 20s with genuinely cool evenings, and the one month posters flag as most likely to see actual precipitation, even though that's still just two or three days at most. The trade-off is crowds - February sits inside the year's busiest tourist window, so the popular sights get busy even as the weather is the best of the year. The record: 27.2C days, 16.5C nights, just 7mm total across 1.3 days, ten hours of sun and a 21.6C sea. One number forum posters don't mention: AQI runs 98 here, the haziest end of Dubai's year, so the postcard-blue sky isn't guaranteed even on a dry day.

March is the month regulars here recommend above all others: warm to hot by day, low humidity, and evenings mild enough to eat outside. Our row gives 31C reading as 30C at 56 percent humidity, over 19.3C nights. The caveat they add is the season's own: March and April bring sandstorms that are rarely storms at all, just a whole day of sand hanging in the air - our AQI of 113 in an almost rainless month is that haze counted. On the sea they disagree with each other, some calling 24.3C comfortably swimmable and others too cold until the end of April, and the note leaves it there. A 23.4 kph wind is part of the same story. The record: 10.5 hours of sun and 21.4mm of rain.

Regulars call this some of the year's most pleasant weather, hot but genuinely dry, well ahead of the high humidity that regulars specifically place from June through September. Our row backs the heat, 35.8C reading as a real 35C, over 22.9C nights, with rain almost entirely absent, 16.2mm across under a day, and humidity down to 47 percent - notably comfortable for the temperature. Regulars are consistent that midday sun makes walking or park visits genuinely tough without shade, so the standard advice is shifting those plans to early morning or after 3-4pm. The sea offers relief at a warm 25.6C, ideal for a quick dip according to regulars. The record: 11.3 hours of sun, a 24.2 kph wind and AQI 114.

May is when Dubai stops being a comfortable winter destination. The forum's figure is "mid to high 30s, if not tipping 40 in the day and down to mid 20s during the hours of darkness — and those are shade temps," a distinction worth taking literally in a city with a lot of unshaded pavement. Whether that's fine depends on who you're with: one parent's two-year-old "did struggle at times during the day" on a late-May trip, and her advice was to book a hotel pool with plenty of shade rather than skip the season. The structural point posters make is that Dubai is built for it — indoor spaces of any size are air-conditioned and pools are chilled. Our record has 39°C highs, 24.6 kph average wind and effectively no rain, with sea already at 29.6°C.

November is the month Dubai's forum recommends without hedging: highs around 31°C falling to about 19 overnight, humidity low, and effectively no rain — a fraction of an inch across the entire month. Early-to-mid November also carries the year's lowest odds of sandstorms or dusty air. Regulars say the evenings are finally comfortable enough to sit outside, and that long trousers work fine even when jeans feel heavy; the one recurring complaint is that late nights can turn humid enough to bring fog.

Mid to late twenties and clear blue skies is the board's December, with two details our columns support. The sun goes about five - daylight is down to 10.6 hours - and the evening wants a cardigan, because 17.5C after a 27.6C afternoon feels colder than it reads. The sea is the other one: 24.7C strikes plenty of visitors as cold, and the answer regulars give is that hotel pools are heated and the beach is for sitting on. This is peak season, November to March, so rooms are dear and the malls and restaurants are full. Rain is 6mm in the month. The record: humidity 63 percent, 9.5 hours of sun, an 18 kph wind and AQI 101.
