Forum posters describe mid-November as generally good Bhutan weather - clear skies, plenty of sun, and daytime conditions comfortable in a light jacket or hoodie with a heavier layer needed once the sun goes down. Posters specifically flag Punakha as running noticeably warmer than higher-elevation stops like Paro or Thimphu, given its much lower valley elevation (around 1,200m versus roughly 3,000m), often 10C or more milder at the same time of year. September through November is generally described by posters as Bhutan's dry, pleasant post-monsoon stretch, though posters also note a lingering shower or two is still possible into November before the fully dry winter pattern sets in, so packing for one isn't unreasonable even on an otherwise sunny-leaning trip.
