We booked two nights specifically to give Seoraksan a full day without rushing back to Seoul the same evening, and it was the right call once we saw how much the park offered beyond a quick cable car ride. The Ulsanbawi Trail was tougher than we expected, endless stepped pathways that made the climb manageable but genuinely tiring by the top.
