Forum posters describe a recurring pattern around Casablanca's main train station: unofficial porters grab bags directly off the platform without being asked, then demand a substantial tip once they've effectively forced themselves into helping - posters say a firm 'no, thank you' delivered immediately, before they get a hand on your luggage, works better than trying to negotiate after the fact. A related scam involves people offering to 'show you the way' to the mosque or medina who then demand payment once you've followed them. Posters also flag a mundane but frustrating detail: station ticket machines sometimes reject foreign credit cards without any explanation, so carrying small change as backup avoids getting stuck. Posters generally recommend arranging onward transport before stepping outside the station entirely, and are direct that airport taxis targeting jet-lagged arrivals are a separate, well-known overcharging risk on top of the station-specific issues.

カサブランカの旅行者の声

Casablanca forum threads describe January as genuinely dependent on sun - a sunny day feels fairly warm by midday but chilly at the edges, while an overcast day stays cold from morning to night. Posters recommended pants and a shirt for daytime with a jacket or jumper ready for evening, and flagged torrential rain as a real possibility worth packing for. A wider Morocco comparison came up repeatedly: the northern Rif mountain region tends toward frequent, heavy rain this time of year, while the southern desert areas stay drier overall but genuinely cold once night falls, making Casablanca's coastal winter a middle ground between those two extremes.

Regulars call this month genuinely unpredictable, capable of chilly, overcast stretches or pleasantly warm, capri-and-short-sleeve days depending mainly on the wind direction and whether the sun actually breaks through - with even the tail end of the month still carrying winter's remnants after dark. Our row backs that mild-by-day, cool-by-night read, 20C over 12.1C nights, with 49.4mm of rain across 7.9 days and humidity at 76 percent. Regulars are consistent that coastal towns along this stretch tend to run warm and balmy compared with inland Morocco at the same time, a real upside for anyone based here rather than Marrakech or Fes this month. Layers that can come off by afternoon remain the standard packing advice. The sea sits at a cool 17.5C. The record: 10.1 hours of sun, an 18.2 kph wind and AQI 59.

Casablanca's forum calls April generally warm and sunny by day on the coast, with a jacket still worth packing for the evening. Regulars are honest that a rainy day can still turn up even this late in spring, usually passing quickly rather than settling in.

May is the month Morocco regulars name first - the countryside still green, warm and sunny without the oven heat of midsummer, long days - and the distinction they are careful to draw is between inland and coast. The figures that frighten people, low-to-mid 30s and occasionally past 40 by late May, belong to Marrakech and Fez. On the Littoral, Casablanca included, the same month is warm and balmy, and our row proves the gap: 23.5C by day over a 16.9C night, almost nothing falling at 14.6mm across 2.8 days, and 12.3 hours of sun. The sea is 20.7C, swimmable rather than inviting. Air conditioning matters inland in May; here it does not. The record: humidity 71 percent, an 18.6 kph wind and AQI 52.

Planning a Moroccan June, regulars send people to the coast and name this city among the good places to be: the littoral is warm and balmy while the interior is not, and anyone choosing on climate alone stays near the Atlantic. Our row shows what that buys - 25.2C days over 19.3C nights against the inland cities' thirties, with a 17.6 kph sea breeze and effectively no rain at 2.9mm on a single day. The same cold current that moderates the air keeps the water at 23.5C, swimmable rather than warm. The record: humidity 70 percent, 12.4 hours of sun inside 14.3 of daylight, and AQI 50.

Casablanca forum regulars call October reliably pleasant: warm sunny days and cooler evenings, with September/October named together as the year's better weather window alongside March-May. Rain is a real if modest possibility — always a possibility, and no-one on the forum can confirm next week's weather in advance — but nothing close to a wash-out month. Standard packing is a spring jacket rather than anything heavier, with a cap and scarf for breezy days. One honest caveat for anyone planning a beach day: the water varies from quite cool to cold and isn't rated among the cleanest near the city, so swimming is more a bonus than the main event. Our record: 26.2°C days, 16.6°C nights, 2.6 rain days and a 22.8°C sea — warm and dry, matching the “pleasant, minor rain risk” read; the sea reading here is milder than the “cool to cold” framing given locally, likely reflecting a warmer offshore average than the immediate coast.

November and December are the wettest months here, which regulars immediately qualify: it still only rains about one day in five. Our 5.9 rainy days out of thirty is exactly that ratio, totalling 31.5mm. Their temperatures run colder than ours - they give 15 to 17C by day and 7 to 9C at night against our 22.3C and 13.7C - which is the difference between a grey breezy day and the month's average, and worth packing for both. The Atlantic brings the other feature, sea fog rolling in over the city. A light jacket from October to March, and a scarf on a windy day. The record: humidity 76 percent, 8.8 hours of sun, a 20.1C sea and AQI 48.
