交通

A traveler's tips for Bordeaux recommend picking up the City Pass on arrival, which bundles free public transport (tram, bus, and even the bike-share) with entry to 20 museums and a choice of guided tour, working out cheaper than paying for each separately if you're staying more than a day. For anyone without a car who wants to see the wine country, her advice is to just take the train to Saint-Emilion for a day trip rather than booking a tour, since it's the simplest and cheapest way to see a proper vineyard town without organizing transport yourself.

ボルドーの旅行者の声

実際に訪れた人たちの声です — 通年のメモを先に、そのあと月ごとに並べています。

Forum posters call snow unlikely in March but say successive waves of wet, windy weather - even the occasional hailstorm - are a real possibility given the city's Atlantic-facing position, alongside stretches of settled, sunny days with cold nights and morning fog. Regulars note the later in March the better, with mid-month already bringing lots of flowers into bloom despite lingering chill. The maritime climate is called genuinely changeable in both spring and autumn, and the standard packing advice is a light but warm raincoat - it's routinely colder than visitors expect, especially touring the wine cellars.

Regulars are consistent the city's closeness to the Atlantic keeps spring weather genuinely changeable here, one visitor reporting roughly half the days of a two-week April stay sunny and hot while the other half turned cold and sometimes rainy. Our row backs that mild, genuinely wet read, 19.3C over 7.7C nights feeling 5C, with 64.4mm of rain across 11.3 days and humidity at 71 percent. Regulars are specific that late April is generally considered the more reliable half of the month, once the last of the unsettled early-spring pattern tends to clear. Layers plus a proper weather-resistant outer layer remain the standard packing advice regardless of which half of the month a trip lands in. The record: 9.9 hours of sun, a 15.7 kph wind and AQI 40.

The Bordeaux forum's May dressing thread is honest about the spread: some days warm, some windy, some a little chilly, and one poster's trip ran from a glorious day in the 70s F to damp cool ones in the low 50s, with nights that touched the 40s. Layers and a light jacket are the standing answer, and doubly so out at the châteaux, where wind makes more difference than the forecast suggests. May is still the month regulars name as the best of the year here - long days, vineyards in leaf, and the holiday rush more than a month away. One date to check: many châteaux close on 1 May, though not all, so email ahead if a particular estate matters. The record: 22.7C days, 10.8C nights, 12.3 precipitation days and 85.4mm, 11.4 hours of sun, AQI 41.

Regulars rate May and June the pick of the year here and, unusually, call June more dependable than September - the Atlantic sits close enough that spring and autumn are both changeable, and June has come out the far side of that. Our row gives 26.6C days over 14.6C nights with 11.8 hours of sun inside 15.5 of daylight, and 92.5mm across 12.9 days, so dependable is not the same as dry. The practical half concerns the chateaux: nothing is closed at this point in the year, the winter timetables are over, and estates that open six days a week have their Saturdays back. The record: humidity 72 percent, a 13.7 kph wind and AQI 42.

July in Bordeaux is hot but, regulars insist, usually pleasant with it - their range is 18C to no more than about 30 on an average day, against our row's 28.7C reading as 30C, with the honest addition that July and August have been getting hotter. Thunderstorms turn up several times across July and August and rarely last; our row's 31.8mm across 6.1 days is the modest total behind them. On crowds the forum splits between visitors who found July hot and busy and locals who point out that August is the French holiday month and the busier of the two. Either way the vineyards are an hour out - Saint-Emilion and the Medoc are the names. The record: 16.9C nights, humidity 66 percent, 12.4 hours of sun and AQI 34.

The August question on French boards is usually whether everything shuts, and here the answer is no. Regulars point out that this city sits close to the coast and is busy with visitors all August, so the restaurants and bars stay open; a number of chateaux do schedule their own holidays, but since this is the main tourist season most keep guides on for tours. That makes it the opposite of the inland cities that empty. The weather is the trade: 29.4C reading as 30C at 64.8 percent humidity, hot and occasionally sticky, and they note the summers here have been getting hotter. Nights drop a full thirteen degrees to 16.6C. Rain is 38.2mm across 6.7 days. The record: 11.7 hours of sun and AQI 35.

Bordeaux's forum calls September still warm with clear, sunny days and cool nights — crowds thin out considerably once French schools restart. Regulars flag the Atlantic-influenced climate as genuinely capable of rain even in a good September, so a light jacket earns a spot in the bag alongside summer clothes.
