One early-September visitor described surprisingly manageable heat with mostly sunny days and just a little rain, and several posters pointed to reduced rates and thinner crowds as the real upside of visiting this time of year.

Forum posters describe March as beautiful and squarely in the dry season - hot, sunny, clear blue skies with balmy trade winds and calm seas, one of the drier months of the year overall. Posters are careful to note this doesn't mean rain-free: Soufriere specifically is called out as wetter than the north of the island, a real local microclimate effect from its position near the Pitons, so an occasional heavy shower remains possible even in the generally dry March window. One visitor who spent three weeks in the area during February-March described wonderful weather overall, with only a handful of heavy showers across the whole stay.
