January is the middle of the cool season here - November to February - and the Pattaya forum's description is short: nice, little falling, and generally 25 to 30C. What they add is the cost of that. The same months are high season, so tourist numbers and prices are both up, and anything near Chinese New Year more so again. It is the best weather of the year and the busiest stretch of the year, and the forum treats those as the same fact rather than two.
