Regulars class March through April as genuinely hot, warmer than the November-through-February window most visitors picture when they think of Pattaya's best season. Forum posters describe a fairly consistent June pattern: rain typically arrives in the late afternoon or evening and rarely lasts more than an hour, with the rest of the day a mix of sun and cloud rather than a washout. Experiences do vary meaningfully year to year, though - one visitor at the end of June described an overcast stretch with frequent downpours, while most posters say the rain isn't enough to meaningfully spoil a holiday. November is a switch rather than a month here: the wet southwest monsoon hands over to the drier northeast one, and regulars put the change around the second week, after which the cool dry season runs through to February.
